How can we help?

I use a medical device at night (sleep apnea / CPAP); is that possible?

Yes, many travellers bring their own device. Please let us know when you sign up so we can plan ahead with our local partners and Tour Leaders. We recommend a compact travel CPAP and, above all, one or more external batteries able to last a full night.

Please note: depending on the destination, access to electricity is not guaranteed every night. On some stops (remote lodges, camps, high altitude) the grid is unstable and power cuts are possible, sometimes with no socket available at all. Battery autonomy is therefore essential, not just a convenience.

Tip: switch off the heated humidifier when running on battery, as it draws the most power. Your autonomy then goes from a few hours to a full night. At altitude, also check that your device handles automatic altitude compensation.

Talk to your travel advisor: depending on your itinerary, we will tell you which stops have no reliable electricity so you can size your batteries accordingly.
