We take care of you from the beginning to the end of your trip, however you will need some pocket money, mainly to pay for additional meals when you are on half board. Don't forget drinks, souvenirs, personal expenses, entrance fees and visits to monuments or museums, and tips. Depending on the length of the trip, allow between 200 and 500 euros per person for a comfortable holiday.
ATMs are becoming more common and you can withdraw money almost everywhere except in the Himalayas where it is better to withdraw in Delhi / Dharamsala / Leh, because the stages crossed are very isolated.
We do advise that you bring some cash with you to change money in exchange offices, at the airport or in town. This allows you to avoid bank transaction fees and you won't have any unpleasant surprises if the ATMs are down.
