💳 Budget
While your trip is taken care of from start to finish, you will still need some pocket money for personal expenses.
This budget will mainly cover:
- Meals not included in your itinerary (especially during rest days).
- Drinks, souvenirs, and entrance fees for monuments or museums.
- Tips for the local teams.
How much should you plan for? Depending on your shopping habits and how much you enjoy socializing over drinks, we recommend budgeting between €200 and €300 per person for a comfortable stay.
🏧 ATMs and Cash on the Ground
- Using your card: ATMs are now widely available across India, and you will be able to withdraw cash easily almost anywhere.
- ⚠️ Special note for the Himalayas: The regions you will cross are highly remote. Please ensure you withdraw enough cash in advance in Delhi, Dharamsala, or Leh, as ATMs will not be available or operational further into the mountains.
- Our advice: We highly recommend bringing some cash in Euros. Exchanging them at local exchange booths (at the airport or in town) will save you international banking fees and provide a reliable backup in case local ATMs are out of order.
