Visa Requirements
The Indian e-visa is obtained online and you do not have to travel or provide your originals.
Delivery times can be longer in high season: We advise you to apply for the "1 year" e-visa once your flights have been booked and of course, if the departure is in less than 365 days.
To handle your visa independently, you may do so at the Indian Government website.
To make your request, you will need the following information: Local contact: Distinct Destination Address: Unit No 701 to 708, Tower D, Global Business Park, Sector-26, Gurugram, Haryana, 122002 Telephone number: +91 98184 01791
Please note: If you apply for the 30-day visa, the application must be submitted only three weeks before your arrival, not earlier. Be aware that the request is quite complex and we will not be able to intervene with the Indian authorities if you have not chosen the appropriate e-visa. All passport-identical names (e.g. "DUPONT EP. MARTIN") must be given on Indian e-visas and can be requested upon boarding and arrival. The same applies to the names of use, widower etc. Always check that the passport numbers match those registered when applying for a visa. If you renew your passport after applying for a visa, please keep your old passport with you.
New mandatory formal requirement: e-Arrival Card
Since te 1st of October 2025, India has replaced the paper immigration form with the e-Arrival Card.
- It must be completed online within 72 hours before your arrival in India.
- Even if you have already obtained your e-Visa, you still need to complete this form.
- If you have not yet applied for your e-Visa, you will be able to complete the e-Arrival Card directly when applying for your visa, or right after your visa is approved.
