The local currency is the Kyrgyzstani Som (KGS). We advise you to exchange Euros upon arrival at Bishkek airport or withdraw cash from ATMs in the capital before starting the tour. This will save you any hassle, as credit cards and ATMs are virtually non-existent outside major cities and in yurt camps.
