In terms of meals, it will depend on your desires, it is possible to eat from 2€ but if you want to eat in a chic restaurant, you will find European prices there.
Credit cards are only accepted in certain tourist locations (hotels, restaurants or shops) and only in large cities. It is possible to withdraw cash from ATMs, which are available in the main cities and limited to 400,000 TZS (Tanzanian shilling = approximately €150) per transaction. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to bring currency. Ask your guide for advice on getting local currency.
Do not change money with intermediaries on the street. Use proper exchange offices and banks.
