Health Tips

The vaccine against yellow fever is no longer mandatory like those against Typhoid, Hepatitis A and even rabies but it is strongly recommended.

A treatment against malaria (Lariam or Malarone for example) is necessary.

It is always useful to provide some pharmaceutical basics in the suitcase.

Bring sunscreen, lipbalm, paracetamol, an anti-diarrheal, disinfectant, plasters/bandages, and an elastoplast adhesive tape. These are essential to address minor ailments, sores and scrapes.

This list of basics does not in any way replace the advice of a professional and should be adapted as required to suit your medical condition. If you have a medical history, caution should be exercised as the healthcare systems of the countries visited do not always equal those in your home country. We advise you to visit your personal doctor before departure; they can help you personalize your first aid kit for the trip.

  • Sunscreen.
  • Moisturising lip stick
  • Aspirin + paracetamol
  • Diamox for trips above 3000m (altitude sickness)
  • Anti-diarrhoeal
  • Bandages and Elastoplast
  • Skin disinfectant

Don't forget your prescriptions!

Our advice : Prepare a first-aid kit with the help of your doctor, depending on your destination and your medical file.
