How can we help?

What should I pack?

The right kit is one of the key factors in a successful trip!

🎒 Bags

💡
Our advice: Travel light, you'll make it easier to handle your bag (try to keep it under 20 kilos, and check airline baggage weight limits). Pack a few plastic bags to protect the contents from the rain, or a waterproof duffel bag.

👕 Personal clothing & equipment

🏍️ Highly recommended bike equipment

How to protect yourself

In order to ride with Vintage Rides, you MUST wear a pair of gloves and an approved helmet with eye protection (visor or goggles).

Pilot or Pillion, safety comes first. That's why our team reminds you of the highly recommended equipment for your trip. Keep in mind: the better equipped you are on your motorbike, the better protected you will be against unexpected weather or possible falls during the journey.

💡
Our advice: Check with the airline whether you can take your helmet and airbag jacket in the cabin or in the hold. Altitude travel: beware, temperatures can vary considerably over the course of a day. Make sure you bring mixed-weather clothing with a warm lining, a second pair of gloves and a second pair of socks, for cold weather and possible rain or snow. Travel to destinations with temperatures above 25-30°C: ventilated summer jacket, summer gloves, light boots.

💊 Personal pharmacy recommendation

💡
Our advice: prepare a first-aid kit with the help of your doctor, depending on your destination and your medical file.

Bon voyage! 🏍️

PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND VALUABLES

You are responsible for your own belongings, and we always urge you to take the utmost care.

During your trip, you will be changing accommodation almost every day, eating at different restaurants for every meal, meeting new people, and visiting lots of different places… all of which present opportunities to lose or leave behind your personal belongings!

⚠️

Avoid carrying valuable items (jewellery, video/photography equipment, tablets or large sums of cash) at all costs, and never leave them unattended, even in the support vehicle!
